MSN 1734 (M+F) Amendment 3: Approval of Marine Equipment (EC Notified Bodies)
This Notice amends Merchant Shipping Notice No. MSN 1734 (M+F) and revokes MSN 1734 (M+F) Amendment 2.

MSN 1752 (M): The Merchant Shipping (Load Line) Regulations 1998, as amended by the Merchant Shipping (Load Line) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 – corrected page 10
This amendment replaces page 10 of MSN 1752 in order to correct an error in the title of paragraph 16.

MGN 289 (M+F) Amendment: Accident Reporting and Investigation
The new address of the Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB).

MGN 402 (M+F) - Oil Pollution: Liability and Compulsory Insurance for Bunker Oil
The informing of shipowners and masters of vessels over 1,000GT of the requirement to maintain compulsory insurance against liability for bunker oil pollution damage, and also informs them of the limits of liability under the International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage 2001.

MGN 403 (M): Oil Pollution : Liability and Compulsory Insurance
The informing of shipowners of vessels carrying more than 2,000 tons of persistent oil in bulk as cargo, of revisions to the limits of liability under the 1992 Civil Liability Convention, and reminds shipowners and masters of the requirement to maintain compulsory insurance against liability for pollution damage.

MIN 362 (M+F): Change of MCA Distribution Agent for M-Notices
The contact details for the new distributor of M-Notices and is to be used for all enquiries about M-Notice subscription services and replaces the address in MIN 345.

MIN 363 (M+F): Code of Practice For Controlling Risks due to Noise and Vibration on Ships
Advice for the industry on the newly published Codes of Practice for controlling risks due to Noise and Vibration on Ships recently produced by the MCA, and where copies may be obtained.

MIN 364 (M): Revalidating a Certificate of Competency: New Procedure for Dispensation
Information on the new application procedure for dispensation to sail in a lower than certified capacity for revalidating Certificates of Competency and replaces paragraph 10.6 in MGN 9 (M).

MIN 365 (M): Approved Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Small Vessel Certifying Authorities
The revised contact details of the MCA-approved Certifying Authorities undertaking survey and certification work against the standards of the Small Commercial Vessel Codes of Practice or MGN 280 (M).

MIN 367 (M+F): Research Project 617: Potential Impact of Out of Band Emissions from the 2.6GHz Auction on S-Band Maritime Radar
The findings of the MCA-commissioned research to establish what affects the changes to the 2.5-2.69 GHz band would have on the Maritime S-Band Radar.

Marine Notice 2-011-31: Piracy, armed attacks, hijacking or terrorism: reporting incidents, Ship Security Plans and best management practices
The requirement for Ship Security Plans pursuant to the ISPS Code to include security measures to protect against incidents of piracy , armed attacks (including armed robbery ), hijacking or terrorism. It also requires the reporting of all such incidents to the Marshall Islands Maritime Administrator.
